The oak is considered by the ancients to be a cosmic warehouse of wisdom embodied within its imposing strength. Its size and longevity make oak a symbol of life.
It also symbolizes physical strength and morale because oaks grow slowly but surely.
In this project the oak is on fire and a miniature of an old lady is sitting on its root waiting for the end, as a metaphorical interpretation of the ephemeral life of organism.
