I walk the line

Lambda print on fine art paper, 2008

“I walk the Line” is a photographic project snapped in long exposure times in multiple flashes, focused on the theme of the human in the age of television.

In the contemporary world the electronic technologies seem to have found, with the paradigm formed from the spread of the television medium, the most extraordinary and unsurpassable instrument of destabilization of social reality and people become victims of abuse and exploitation. Instead the human has a complex nature that mobilises every dimension of the subject: his/her body and his/her mind but also his/her affectivity, his/her will and his/her imagination.

This project was born from the desire to recover the consciousness of self through time, by talking about the relationship of the Self and the Other or between the self and the object or between I and the world.
