In each image, a miniature elderly woman sits upon the acorn, suspended between the roots and the stem, silently accompanying the plant’s entire life cycle in a patient wait that evokes the passage of time and the inevitability of death.
The sequence unfolds through the sprout’s emergence, its gradual withering, and the fire that ultimately consumes it, transforming the destructive force of the element into an integral part of the cycle of life.
