\u201cEn Attendant Godot\u201d (eng. \u201cWaiting for Godot\u201d) is a quote from the absurdist drama by Samuel Beckett, in which two characters wait endlessly and in vain for the arrival of someone named Godot. The idea of this work is to represent one of the ways in which people spend their life during waitings: smoking cigarettes.
\nIt is a project based on a serie of photos depicting hundreds of cigarette butts embedded in a storm drain that seem to remember a glimpse from some skyscraper windows. As a small human hourglass of waiting, that grill marks the time in a slow rhythm of humans\u2019 lives.
\nAs well as the two tramps of Beckett\u2019s work, this is a symbolic representation of the time wasted by men for events that never seem to arrive.<\/p>\n

After this project I quit to smoke for 5 years.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
